Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm were two German brothers best known for their folktales from the 19th century. Most of their stories are classified as "fairy tales." Their most famous stories include Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, and many more. Grimm’s folktales have been translated into over 100 languages. The given story is a short fable about three companions: a mouse, a bird, and a sausage, who lived happily together.
